From Scratch to Submission - Package 3

Topic selection and strategy, up to 8 drafts, 5 review meetings.

2,400 US dollars

What you'll get:

You're starting from the beginning and that's okay! With this package we have the breadth to run sessions in a relaxed manner, giving you plenty of time to write and precise direction every step of the way. Step One - Understanding Your Brand: We'll first start with a personal inventory to drum up content for your personal statement. I'll ask you questions about your background, motivations, goals, where the gaps are in your field, why and how you intend to fill them. Step Two - Finding the Right Stories: We'll then pinpoint the right stories to illustrate your candidacy. Then.. WE WRITE! Step Three - Outlining and Organization: I'll give you an outline for your sections according to the prompt and include touchpoints from what we discussed on your stories. From here, the editing will focus on structure and organization, narrative framework, tone, specificity and detail on your qualifications and alignment with your program of choice. Step Four - Polish: Line edits, grammar and typo fixes, and vocabulary and tone suggestions. This package includes 48hr turnaround on all drafts.

You're confident about your essay draft and need a final, thorough review and polish.

The single edit is for applicants who are nearly ready to submit their essays but need a final proofread.

I'll edit for:

Revisions for syntax and grammar

Corrections for spelling, punctuation, and mechanics

Formatting for English type (US/UK)

Word reduction if necessary

Improving vocabulary and correcting word choice errors

Rephrasing to enhance clarity, conciseness, and flow

Output:

You'll receive two versions: one clean, updated version of your essay and one with tracked changes.

Note: Because this service is focused on preparing your essay for submission, I won't leave major content suggestions unless glaringly necessary.
